The Gleneagles Hotel, Scotland

A dream destination

We are thrilled that the Gleneagles resort, known throughout the world as the host venue for the G8 summit of world leaders in 2005 and golf’s 2014 Ryder Cup, will host the 2019 Summit.

Set in 850 acres of countryside, within one hour’s drive of both Edinburgh and Glasgow, Gleneagles is a dream destination for anyone loves the great outdoors- and it’s not just golf!

Guests can horse-ride, fish, play tennis or explore jogging trails around the estate. The Club Leisure facilities offer rest, relaxation and fun in addition to a superb gym. The award-winning Spa is the ultimate rejuvenating experience.

Getting here

Fly: Edinburgh and Glasgow airports are both approximately one hour’s drive away. Kantar Media will arrange complementary transport for all Summit participants from and to Edinburgh Airport, Glasgow Airport and Edinburgh City Centre on 25 and 27 June. Further details will be available in May 2019.

Rail: The hotel has its own railway station so you can travel by train directly from London to Gleneagles Station in just over 5 hours, 30 minutes. It’s a beautiful journey through England and Scotland and well-worth considering if time allows.

Additional accommodation nights

Accommodation is provided by Kantar Media on the nights of 25 and 26 June. If you wish to extend your stay at the hotel please contact +44(0)1764 662231 and quote “Kantar Media” to enable you to obtain the discounted rate.

The discounted rate is £360 per night, including breakfast and all local taxes.  Please note that this is only available on 24 and 27 June and is subject to availability. We would recommend booking this as soon as possible as availability is limited.   Credit card for full pre-payment will be required at the time of booking. Reservations are non-refundable but are transferrable and are solely between the traveller and the hotel.

Hotels in Edinburgh

We recognise many clients may wish to extend their stay in Scotland before or after the Summit, perhaps in neighbouring Edinburgh, the capital city.

If you plan to stay in Edinburgh we strongly encourage you to book accommodation as soon as possible. The Edinburgh International Film Festival takes place from 9-30 June and accommodation is likely to be more expensive and with limited availability as hotels fill up quickly.

You can find a selection of hotels through various travel websites including Expedia and booking.com. Alternatively, here are some hotels in the City Centre and Airport area:
